Theres a small charge that goes towards a casino or poker room for every hand played by you. In poker circles, this is referred to as rake. When you sign up for a rakeback deal with a casino, it means that they have agreed to return to you a specified percentage of your rake at regular intervals for as long as you play on their site. This period could be a month or a week. For instance, if you generate a rake of $500 in one month and have agreed on a 30% rakeback deal then you can expect $150 at the end of the month. If you keep up the same rate of rake generation for the rest of the year, the amount adds up to $1800 which is a considerable sum.
